The Memorial Site is open Tuesday through Sunday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. On Mondays the Memorial Site is closed. No prior appointment is necessary and entry is free.

If you travel to the Memorial by car, please note that parking fees are €3,00 per car, and €5,00 for busses.

Documentary Film

The documentary "The Dachau Concentration Camp" (22 minutes) is presented at 11:30 am, 2:00pm and 3:30 pm in English (11:00 am and 3:00 pm in German) Tuesday through Sunday in the cinema room of the museum. The movie is rated FSK 12.

The cinema does not accept reservations, and can seat up to 250 people. Additional screenings are possible upon request, including screenings in French and Italian. If you require a special screening of the film, please inquire with the staff at the museum’s entrance upon your arrival.

Archive and Library Hours

The Memorial Site’s archive and library are available by appointment only between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm Tuesday through Friday. For further information on these services, please see "Archive and Library".

Bookstore Hours

The bookstore is open during the Memorial’s normal business hours of 10:00 am through 5:00 pm Tuesday through Sunday.
