In its German version, the official mobile app of the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site offers hearing impaired visitors information on the history of the memorial site and accompanies them on their tour in German sign language. In over 80 videos, the history of the concentration camp and its various postwar usages is explained clearly and precisely in German sign language.

For all users– whether hearing impaired or not – the app provides access to information on the memorial site in both German and English. For hearing persons or anyone unfamiliar with German sign language, the app is no substitute an audio guide or a guided tour.
