Audio and video archive

Since the liberation of the Dachau concentration camp and its subcamps through to the present day, an enormous number of documentaries and interviews have been recorded on film and audio. Film or sound recordings from the Nazi period are not held in the archive. Almost all of the Memorial Site’s own productions are meanwhile digitalized. Transcripts and translations of numerous interviews have also been produced.

The audio and video collection covers the following areas:

  • Interviews with survivors of the Dachau concentration camp
