Vigil for peace in Israel and commemoration of the victims of the Islamist terrorist attack on October 13.

The Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial shares the contribution of the Dachau county and would like to participate in the vigil:

We are shocked by the events in Israel and by the unbounded violence against the civilian population. We mourn with all the victims of the terrorist attack. The fundamentalist Hamas is spreading terror against the population in Israel and is also deliberately taking the population in Gaza hostage. The district of Dachau, the Round Table Against Racism Dachau e.V. and the Partnership for Democracy want to send a sign of solidarity with the citizens of the district of Dachau. The Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial supports the action. There are many close relationships with people who live in Israel and who have relatives in Israel. We stand unbreakably for Israel’s right to exist.

All citizens are cordially invited to set a sign together against Islamist terror and for peaceful coexistence between Israelis and Palestinians under the motto “We stand with Israel”. The event will take place this Friday, October 13, at 4:30 pm at the Unterer Markt in Dachau.
